Many of you know that I published “The Affiliate Review” for many years. In fact, it is one of the main vehicles that got me where I am today, and one of the things that is always said about me when I’m introduced on stage to speak.
But if you were on my Newsletter list before now, you know that I had stopped publishing it a while back, as my time constraints got worse, due to the many other projects I became involved with.
That said, I have wanted to revive it for some time now, but just couldn’t find the time or anyone I could trust to help me put together a newsletter I could be proud of.
But NOW … That search is over!
I would like to introduce you to my good friend and New Partner Sandy Swain who will be the new editor of “The Affiliate Review”.
Some of you may already know Sandy through our work together on various projects in the past such as Amazing Site Builder, and My Affiliate Store.
Sandy and I both believe in telling you the absolute truth about internet marketing and promise to always give you “The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly” as we see it.
Those of you that know me, know that I am just a Good Ole Boy who calls a spade a spade, and I am NOT afraid to piss off the “Powers that Be” with my honest opinions. And Neither is Sandy.
And that my friend is why WE make such a good team, and why YOU need to come back often to hear the “Truth, the WHOLE Truth, and NOTHING BUT the TRUTH”!
Plus, we like to make things FUN and promise not to let you get bored with the run of the mill “Marketing Malarkey” you find everywhere you turn!
We want you to look forward to reading The Affiliate Review every week and vow to do everything we can to make that a reality!

Sandy and I will Constantly search out and critique products and services that can help you grow your marketing efforts both online and off.
But we PROMISE that this will not be just an endless pitch parade for every new thing that comes down the pike. If we think a product or service SUCKS, we will not hesitate to say so.
And as before we will include inspirational Quotes, Jokes and Stories such as were popular with my readers when I published The Affiliate Review in the past to break up the boredom, make it more FUN to read and give you an extra incentive to keep coming back for more!
And … From time to time we will offer limited time, SUBSCRIBER ONLY gifts of ebooks or software that we think will be beneficial for our readers.
And of Course, this will always be the place to come learn how to get the most out of the all our personal products and services, both present and past.
We Plan to resurrect and upgrade many of my past products to bring them up to date for the needs of today’s marketers, as well as creating MANY new products and services that are needed in the industry today and in the future.
And YOU, as one of our loyal subscribers, will always be the first to know about them, and whenever possible, we will pass on whatever discounts we can to you. Both for my own products and services, as well as any of those that we can negotiate for you from our friends and fellow marketers.
Together Sandy and I have a LOT of friends in this industry and will work hard to get you the best possible deal we can for any worthwhile products we find.

Can’t Never Could

As I sat here contemplating what I wanted to write to you, I suddenly realized it was Thanksgiving day here in America. A day to forgive and forget, and to be thankful for the things we have, giving thanks to those who either directly or indirectly are responsible for them.
So I want to take this opportunity to thank a man who had a HUGE influence on who I am and what I have accomplished in my life.
My Father and I have had a “ROCKY” relationship to say the least, from the time I was a small boy. He was NEVER what you’d call an “AFFECTIONATE” man. Rather, he was all business, leaving us to constantly wonder if he really cared for us at all.
But looking back, I now realize that he must have cared. He just didn’t know how to show it.
His way of caring was to try and mold us into the type of people who he knew could then go on to be successful at anything they decided to do. And he made it very clear that he didn’t give a Hoot WHAT we decided to be, but that “NOT” being the best that you could be, at whatever that was, simply was not an option!
“I don’t care what you decide to do Len. If you decide to be a Garbage Man, so be it. Just be the best Damn Garbage Man you can be!”
“Can’t NEVER could do ANYTHING”, he used to say. It was one of his favorite sayings. And as a child, trying to do new things, and getting frustrated at how hard some of them were for me, I heard that saying a LOT!
And frankly, it pissed me off every timer he’d say it!
I was looking for some understanding and sympathy! Something like …
“It’s OK Son. I know some things just don’t come as easily to some as to others, and if you can’t do it, it’s OK. I still Love you.”
Instead I got …
“I don’t want to hear that! CAN’T NEVER COULD DO ANYTHING! You’re the one that decided to do this, not me! Now get up, stop your whining and do it again. And KEEP doing it until you get it right!”
Truth is, I hated him for it, and would run crying to my Mom about how cruel he was, on a regular basis.
And in the end, it ruined my relationship with him. And to this day, we have never really recovered from it, and I guess, we never will.
But Hindsight is 20/20, and now I realize he sacrificed our relationship, to build a will in me that categorically REFUSES to fail!
And therefore, HE is the reason I live a lifestyle that most only dream of.
See, Success is not luck …
SUCCESS IS A MIND SET!
“If you BELIEVE you can, you can. If you BELIEVE you CAN’T, you’re probably right!”
Care to guess where I picked up THAT little gem?
I wasn’t always affluent. In fact I’ve been down and out a good part of my life. For a period of time, I was even homeless, living in an old broken down Van that didn’t even run!
I’ve been on welfare, eaten in soup lines, slept in shelters, and been Bankrupt TWICE!
BUT YA KNOW WHAT?
They were ALL self imposed. All those tough times came when I was feeling sorry for myself, and was subconsciously needing to Punish myself for one thing or another.
But eventually, when I got tired of it, I would pick myself up and get BACK in the race. And I have ALWAYS been able to succeed at ANYTHING I put my mind to.
Hell … I was even SUCCESSFUL at being a Down and Out BUM!
Now please don’t get me wrong.
I’m NOT tooting my own horn here.
I’m trying to make a point. A very IMPORTANT Point!
I’m no smarter than you are, and I’m certainly not more educated (I barely graduated High School, having to go to an “Adult” finishing school just to get my diploma).
No Friend, what I’m trying to tell you is that being successful is purely a matter of making the conscious decision that you are GOING to be successful!
It’s purely a matter of REFUSING to give up until you’ve reached your goal
…
NO MATTER HOW LONG OR HOW MANY FAILED ATTEMPTS IT TAKES TO GET THERE!!!!
I don’t have anything going for me that you don’t, besides possibly …
My Stubborn streak!
When I decided to be a Bum, I was a BUM until I decided NOT to be a Bum anymore. And no one and NO THING could make me do any differently!
But when I made the conscious decision that I would get into a place in life where I would NEVER have to say to my children again … “Sorry Sweetie, but we just can’t afford that right now”, my life changed again.
Believe me, I was NO prodigy! I was NOT an overnight success..
But again …
NO ONE AND NO THING ON THIS EARTH OR ANY OTHER HAS THE POWER TO STOP A PERSON WHO HAS MADE UP THEIR MIND TO DO SOMETHING, BELIEVES THEY DESERVE IT, AND CATEGORICALLY REFUSES TO QUIT UNTIL THEY’VE REACHED THEIR GOAL!
So in the end, it’s up to you my friend.
YOU DECIDE!
Are you going to MAKE it happen for you, and NEVER give up until you have what you want … WHATEVER that may be?
Or are you going to let the world and other loser’s opinions dictate what is and what ISN’T possible for you?
Either way, just remember that it is YOUR choice, and you almost ALWAYS get what you ask for and believe you deserve!
The only other thing I had going for me that you probably didn’t, is a Dad that beat these principles into me until they became a VERY important part of how I look at the world.
I didn’t understand it at the time. But I’m a lucky man. He must have loved me an awful lot after all.
Thanks Dad!
Be thankful for what you have, and GO GET WHAT YOU WANT!

Church Special
A priest was called away for an emergency. Not wanting to leave the confessional unattended, he called his rabbi friend from across the street and asked him to cover for him. The rabbi told him he wouldn’t know what to say, but the priest told him to come on over and he’d stay with him for a little bit and show him what to do. The rabbi comes and he and the priest are in the confessional.
A few minutes later, a woman comes in and says, “Father forgive me for I have sinned.” The priest asks “What did you do?” The woman says, “I committed adultery.”
Priest: “How many times?”
Woman: “Three times.”
Priest: “Say two Hail Mary’s, put $5 in the box and go and sin no more.” A few minutes later a man enters the confessional. He says, “Father forgive me for I have sinned.”
Priest: “What did you do?”
Man: “I committed adultery.”
Priest: ”How many times?”
Man: “Three times.”
Priest: “Say two Hail Mary’s, put $5 in the box and go and sin no more.”
The rabbi tells the priest that he thinks he’s got it so the priest leaves…
A few minutes later another woman enters and says, “Father forgive me for I have sinned.”
Rabbi: ”What did you do?”
